The Click Camp 2010 - a note from yester year

The Click! Camp (Alumni for Access) sponsored by the US Embassy in Malaysia has begun.

Over 200 underserved Malaysia youth from across Malaysia will attend a 4-day camp (Nov11-14th) focused on building leadership skills, developing English-language skills, and fostering a sense of social responsibility.
Alumni of U.S exchange programs will support these youth in their personal growth during this empowering event.  It includes alumni from Fulbright, the YES program, the Study of the US Institutes for Student Leaders, the Humphrey Program and the International Visitor Leadership Program.
Please follow the experiences of the over 250 participants and alumni attending the program at the following social media sites specifically designed for this program

A big thanks to our alumni Vani, Dash, Faisal Hassan, Jim Chua and the other leaders of the Malaysian-American Alumni Partnership who are co-organizing this camp.  A big thanks to all the partner organizations supporting this program, including ECA’s Office of Alumni Affairs..

Vani, who participated in the recent New Beginnings IVLP Program – Entrepreneurship and Business Innovation, has posted her perspective  about this weekend’s alumni program on the New Beginning’s blog site:  http://anewbeginning.eonetwork.org/2010/11/11/click-for-youth-by-youth/

We hope to see you soon and often through our social media sites so you can join the fun.
Please follow along and support this important initiative.
